| Paradise Parrot Park
With over 900 birds in the rescue/refuge at this time, we have a new 8 acre location to house all the outside birds. It contains all new flights with picnic areas and easy access to all the birds. It has a circular drive with plenty of parking. The new location has a new 30 x 40 x 12 housing center for birds and caretakers quarters. At this time sixteen out door flights have been completed. Each flight has a rain shower system installed. Six new flights are already under construction. One new special needs flight has already been finished also. Our new 24 x 22 x 100 all natural vegetation flight is under construction. As many of you already know we have opened our eight-acre Paradise Parrot Park here at Feathered Friends Forever Rescue. Our new location features several species-specific outdoor flights. During the construction process of these facilities a great idea was born...to create a memorial park for our beloved feathered family members as well as all breeds and types of animals that have passed and are waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. Yes, what a wonderful idea and so the concept of Feathered Friends Rainbow Bridge Memorial Walkway was born! The garden will be filled with beautiful trees, flowers and blooming shrubs. We will create a walkway through the gardens paved with memorial bricks dedicated to your loved ones. These bricks will be permanently engraved with your precious parrot or other animal information. Each time you visit Paradise Parrot Park you can walk into the garden and enjoy the beauty knowing your friend awaits you on the other side of The Rainbow Bridge. Best of all, the proceeds from each brick will go to support our rescued feathered family members. Yes, each brick purchased will help us care for parrots who were not blessed with loving homes of their own. Here the birds can find peace and comfort with other birds in need.
